I bought my first Dyna-King vise in about 1990. As a commercial tier I have tied on that same Pro model C-clamp nearly every day since then and over the years I have racked up an incredible amount of flies, from small trout patterns to giant offshore stuff. When I look back and think about the amount of use I have gotten out of this vise, I am astonished how well the thing has held up, and in fact, I think it’s actually gotten smoother over the years. I’ll be the first to admit I like nice things, fine guns, reels and the like and my vise is no exception; incredibly well made, durable and flawless.Dyna-King vises have served me quite well and have my wholehearted endorsement. Nearly all of my tying tools have been changed and improved on over the last twenty years, but my Pro has stayed loyally clamped to my bench the entire time. That says something.
